When I take a photograph for myself it is because I believe the final image will move me. Everything I do to that image whether it is in a darkroom or computer is designed to capture the life that is evident in a fine photograph. I make photographs, not because they fit into a series I am working on, but because of their lasting power and beauty. I feel that technique should be the servant of a great image. Consequently, although I teach technique and use several print making techniques, I want the image to tell me how to print it and present it. I desire to make images that will continue to speak for a long time. I hope you will enjoy looking at my images.
